Oprah and the Next Disney Princess: The Princess and The Frog
Disney’s much-anticipated and much-delayed “The Princess and the Frog” just added Oprah Winfrey to its vocal cast, starring as Princess Tiana’s mother. This is exciting news for many reasons, but I am most excited about the fact that this is the first time (at least to my knowledge) that the mother of a Disney Princess will actually appear on the big screen. The Princess and the Frog is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day 2009, but it’s already stirring up controversy online. Here are some more reactions:

Aurora’s mother was shown in Sleeping Beauty…I think o.o I’m excited that Disney is getting back to it’s roots AND adding another princess story to the line up (their my favorite ^///^) but I was disappointed when I found out what the story way. I was hoping for the 12 Dancing Princesses…
